Burleigh Heads, this afternoon. Although we love to go south, the classic breaks up here are always an option, specially when you are one day away to go for a 15 day trip to Sydney. Daniela has already been bribing me for another photo shoot, hehe she is getting better than me with the camera!

Daniela checking it out in Hastings Point. The number of days we found ourselves with no one around at spots whose fame thankfully don't make justice to their quality is the proof that surfing and love can be close friends, contradicting my old beliefs.

It's flat, I know, but it's still a bloody Kirra Christmas tree! Merry xmas to all.

Those classes were starting to get way too boring after this chick took over, as u can see. We basicaly had a group of 7 Chinese dudes trying to break their first egg on one side and 5 of us Brazilians plus a couple of japs terrorizing the teacher and ourselves. It was fun for a while, but at the end of this semester this scenario was common: more snoring than boiling. I guess I had enough of al this crap, since Mark (ex-teacher) left I haven't learned shit. All in all it was enough to earn me a gig at Blu Grotto, where I really ended up aquiring the skills I wanted: making myself mad munchies!

It's like having your favourite dish.. this friday Anthony, Daniela and me drove all the way down to Ballina stopping in everysingle break and made the most of this south swell. A northeast spoiled the party at 10, so we ended up going out at the protected beaches like Tallows, South Ballina and North Fingal. My restaurant has been heaps quiet for the past couple of weeks, I just got am sms from the boss calling off tonight's shift for lack of customers. It's hard to believe that I've been a chef for nearly 2 months now and I still prefer Daniela's Italian cuisine, like this reef and beef on the photo that we just had for lunch.

Daniela and my camera are gettin on impressively well. South Ballina

Brunswick head

Wild, uncrowded, hollow, sick shit. Thanks for showing me around cuz!

Find me if u can - somewhere on the north coast of NSW going off in the first day of December.

So I closed my eyes and headed to the sky

I knew I had to follow that light

Even though was unsure about how and why

It leaded me to some exotic locations

From the wide beaches of New South Wales

Through the Kiwi massive beauty exacerbations

And the Chilean snow on which I shall bury my rails
The distance was gradually killing me Posted by Picasa

But I knew that I wasnt far from an old friend

So I decided to come down and with my mates knee

To His greatness and the city of which He is the reverent

I took the opportunity to go seeing my best buddies

Who effortlessly convinced me to stay more

All in all I didnt want to miss any of their parties

However I was drinking so much that my head was always sore

My medicine was to admire Rios gorgeous wonders

I was quickly captivated by this people who know how to live

And its waves the ramp for those who has something to achieve

I obviously took my time and paid a visit to my family

Got on with my little cousin whose future is promising

Hanged out with my number one grandma which blessed me kindly

And then went for a drive with my mum and sister leading

Up the Hill, behind the Idyllic beaches, next to the waterfalls

Lies mums atelier, a majestic center of the most plastic expression

Where she gave us the opportunity to learn some of her skills

And soon I realized how handy Rio is when it comes to inspiration

But my sister didnt seem to be yet fully satisfied

So she came up with something new, something to chill, heal

Across that endless bridge, a long way into the bush we headed

And got gifted with a winter rising sun upon what we wondered if was real

I had to let go, there was no way back, she made it, I was there

An ocean of people, loud electronic music And there was her thriving on it

I was there, I was there and so was this window in the sky that here I share

But I wouldnt stop to wonder what was happening on the beach

Once I was recovered I got mumsys car and drove all the way down

Even though I didnt make it without having to turn hassle into fun

Once there I did notice, by the way, the similarity between a girl and a prawn

This was my first day with a new surfboard, and the last day of Shaun

My journey was still on, walking around without much care
