I actually got more photos from December than from the last 3 months put together, but hadn't have the time to post anything yet.. heaps going on in this month ay, it's been kinda gray, warm, really consistent surf (till last week) and, of course, xmas plus new years. We also had the International students surf challenge, heaps of fun. Will get into details later.. been working 6 days a week with a minimum of 8 hours.. Just bought the sickest camera on Ebay, that Sony H9, hope it gets here before NYE.. Hopefully it will motivate me to get back into it. Nevertheless, Tchelao and I had a fun watershooting sesh at Dreamtime last week. here is a sample.

Nice bowl section at Burleigh. Didn't get to take many photos cause it was too good to risk missing a wave with the camera in my hand...

The road is coming to an end. All my classmates but one graduated yesterday. Because this guy and I were lazy buggers and started the course just in March 2006, we still have to do about 4 subjects next year before getting the diploma. As usual, I went to check the graduation out anyway and ate as much of those snacks as I could, hehe. This one was pretty sick by the way, on the second floor of Palm beach Surfclub facing a fresh and clean increasing south swell lighly brushed by offshore winds. It sounds like a menu description, but that's how good this swell came. Photo: Graduating crew marching along with the Scottish dude towards the Surf Club.

Labour wins, Australia loses

I gotta admit I'm a little worried about the results of the prime minister election.. John Howard is as good as gone, this Kevin Rudd bloke took over.. but he doesn't seem very serious in any sense at all! Possibly because of his similarity to South Park's Mr Garrisson, or perhaps due to a far worse coincidence: he is Labour just like Lula.
I strongly hope that Australia survives the change, but I don't know if I will. His government will favour blue color dudes, people who are happy to be working for third parties forever. I wouldn't say that this was my plan.. I always had a thing with starting something for myself, but that will not be happening now, not if i have to pay penalty rates to all my employees and can't even pull out an AWA. Sometimes being a little dodgy doesn't hurt, it helps businesses to arise and people to develop. If we do adopt a totally mechanical and not flexible workplace approach it will be way too burocratic to try anything outta the box.
Something else I can see coming is a possible reduction of jobs availability. I don't think it will be as easy to score gigs 2 years from now. Not to mention the strikes and other shit that might come up.
I hope he is not doing a Lula special and leading the sheep to the abattoir. Time will say..
Another unexpected and unwelcome result this weekend was that friggin' Australian Idol thing. Some wonky chick won it over a little dude that was much better than her. I suppose not many people give a fuck about that anyway, and neither do I so let's just drop it.
Within the actual concerns of this country all I can say is that Johnny will be missed...

Here is the first 1.. whoever is interested in this baby just let me know and we'll talk.
I can ship to any country, by the way, but it will make it more expensive with the shipment..
Anyhow, I can always give discounts..

I got my results for Ielts today, got 8 outta 9! stoked. I thought that writing would fuck me cause I did over 1000 words for each essay when it shoulda been 150 for 1 and 250 for the other.

The waves have been steady 2 to 3.. okay fun.. hols r just around the corner, schoolies is on..

Dee has got an awesome job now, goo stuff. As for me I'll probably stick to where I am till new years and then have a little break..

There will be more stuff like this computer for sale throughout this week so stay tuned.

Steady times..

Been waking up at 6 everyday.. not much night life at all lately. this new job decided to roster me to 7 am on Sat and Sun after I requested to do my 20 hours in 2 days, hehe. I thought it was a shit go but it worked out to be awesome for me from a health and wealth perspective. The best outcome is that now I can surf 7 days a week again.
My mate Luiz bought a sick videocamera so we went hunting for waves on Tuesday. The only person out at Fingal was the Tour leader Mick fanning and the waves weren't that bad, so we got a few over there taking turns to tape each other.
After this sesh we checked all the south facing corners seeking sheltered conditions but the banks were shit everywhere. We ended up going out in Dreamtime for a bit more of taing and then called it a day. In spite of the amount of driving I've been getting far better waves up here on the goldie beachies.. real fun banks even when it's choppy.
anyway, it's all good.
